Just wanted to say thankyou to all those that have added my work to their favourites. It's greatly appreciated & I hope to have more stuff to put up here as the year progresses. In other news: Tonight I discovered that one of my housemates seems to suffer from a massive inferiority complex.

Tonight I joined deviantart. I also found out that a guy I used to work with at a sculpting company in 2008 died the other night when he fell into a drain whilst trying to retrieve his keys that he'd dropped in there. Fucking crazy! Didn't see that coming! So I guess, be nice to people & finish off or start that project that you've been meaning to do cos you never know when you might fall down a drain & die! :/ Apart from that I hope to be able to live for a while yet & show you some of my sculpting & maybe the occasional bit of digital painting.......though there wont be much of that as I'm not very good at it!

Thanks for the fave..Nice work by the way..
Ta, looking forward to seeing more of your stuff.
Great sculptures, was wondering where you learned your trade as I would love to hone my skills and always looking out for courses, training in the U.K. Do you do any courses yourself?
Hi there. Thank you for the kind comments. I did a three year degree course at Wimbledon School of Art back in 1999 - 2002. It was called Technical arts & was an amazing place for learning traditional life sculpting skills as well as the basics of mould making & other things. It's basically a course for people wanting to get into special fx in films etc.......

Before that I did a course solely for make up fx.....lots of blood & gore! Thats where I learned the importance of being able to sculpt & began to focus on that in between making ropey zombies & monsters! :)
Thanks for the insight, they both sound like great courses. I have had a look at the Wimbeldon course and it looks like it would be a great way to learn, just a shame it's a three year course as I have boring things like my mortgage getting in the way. I will try and see what short courses are available.

I am trying to self teach at the minute and it's a slow process but I'm really enjoying it. I am currently trying to sculpt a Judge Dredd, this was when I came across you amazing work. I'm finding it hard to get get really smooth, sharp, hard edges, any advice?
